I would like to thank all the parents, players and administration for their kind words over the last three years regarding the website.  Now that my son has moved on from the program, I would like to find someone to take over the site.  If you are interested in running the site, please drop me an e-mail at jbrady001@centurytel.net.  Good luck to the future Shoremen!

The varsity finished off the year scoring three runs in the 7th inning to pull out an 8-8 tie with the Comets at Progressive Field.

The Shoremen closed out conference play with a 4-2 win over Brecksville. Tyler Beck and Ryan Rodgers delivered huge run-scoring hits in the three-run fifth inning.  Nick Brady went the distance on the mound, striking out seven and allowing one earned run.

With the win, Avon Lake completed a second-place campaign in the Southwestern Conference finishing just one game behind champion Brecksville and a game ahead of Amherst.

Congratulations to Tyler Beck, Nick Brady, Matt Kohler and Ryan Rodgers for being selected to play in the Lorain County All-Star game.  The four Shoremen will be at Vermilion High School on Saturday, May 28.  There will be a double-header starting at 10:00 a.m.  Good Luck All-Stars!

Five Shoremen and head coach Jeff Stratton made the list for the Division I All-Lorain County team.  Coach Stratton was named the Coach of the Year and Tyler Beck was named Player of the Year.  Matt Kohler and Ryan Rodgers were selected as First-Team All County position players, while Nick Brady and Mark Spring were selected as Honorable Mention pitchers.  Congratulations to all that were named to the All Lorain County Team.
