Expectations: |
We return 7 pitchers, 4 of
them starters from a year ago. Our JV were 20-4 a year ago, and most
of them moved up. We will have 12 juniors on the team. I think we’ll
surprise some people. If our returning pitchers use last years
experience and pitch well, we hope to be in the hunt for the SWC.
The SWC is just tough day in and
day out. You never overlook anyone. My guess is Brecksville and
Amherst are the front runners again. With Mancuso pitching, you are
almost guaranteed 5 conference wins to start with.
|
| Key Games: |
Brecksville, we are 2-6 over lat 4 years vs. them with 5 of those
losses decided by one run.
|
| Notes: |
Promising Newcomer: Danny Strodtbeck (so), OF/RHP,
Danny reminds me of kids that I have coached in the past that have gone
on to college careers. He was out bat boy 10 years agao and has
that passion.
