2011 MIDPARK BASEBALL
 

Coach:	Head Coach: Mike Cieslik
Last Year:	Last year we improved 2 games form the previous season. We won 2 games in the tournament, beating 2 good teams in Lincoln West and North Royalton. We then lost to state semi-finalist Olmsted Falls, after beating them twice during the regular season.
Top Returners:	We have 9 seniors returning this year, led by SS Eric Murphy, 1st team all confernce last season, 2nd team as a sohpomore. Eric is on pace to break 4 school records this season. C/OF Jim Parker has been all conference his first 2 seasons and also is on pace for 2 school records. OF Adam Singer and Junior 3B Kyle Heineke should be major contributors this season.
Top Pitchers:	P/1B senior Steven Barbee anchors our pitching staff. Steven came on strong last season and has worked very hard in the off season. Heineke gained a lot of experience last year and is ready for this season. Junior P/OF Bob Bromund and senior P/OF Zach Bewly should also help.
Season Expectations:
Key Games:	All Southwest conference games are key to us. Outside of the conference, we have a tough doubleheader with Brunswick on April 30th. Brecksville is still the team to beat. They have the two time conference MVP returning for his senior year. Amherst is always tough, and Olmsted Falls was a state finalist. This is definitely one of the toughest baseball conferences in the area.
